Partners& and The Association of British Climbing Walls (ABC) have entered into an agreement that sees the insurance advisory specialist supporting members to obtain the ABC Accreditation and safeguard their business and their clients.
ABC is implementing a new accreditation scheme to help professionalise the climbing wall industry and support best practice as the industry grows. With a strong emphasis on safety and prevention, the accreditation process will help promote and encourage climbing wall businesses take a positive and progressive approach to risk.
Partners& has secured a bespoke arrangement through Virtu Underwriting to support and reward climbing wall clients which undertake the ABC Accreditation. The arrangement includes:
- Rate stability – rates on premium will be held for three years, subject to claims being less than 30% of annual premium each year.
- Full reimbursement of ABC Accreditation costs over a three-year period. The overall cost of accreditation will be deducted from the gross premium at the beginning of each insurance year.
- Specialist ‘All Risks’ policy wording and access to specialist brokers with a breadth of experience in the climbing sector.
